Dearest Ginny and Family, there are no words to fully express our sadness over Steve's passing. He was a truly special man and as a couple you were a role model of what true love and devotion means. From our first meeting in Copenhagen to our special visits in Florida we always felt blessed to have you both in our life. Your memories will sustain you and Steve's spirit will always be with you. God bless you all.
Love, Neal and Carolyn

The lives of the Horvath Family and the Donovan Family have been woven in and out of the past 40 years.....both as next door neighbors, neighbors on the same street and distant visitors. We were so very sad to hear about Steve. He was truly a wonderful man who was so devoted to his wonderful wife Ginny and his great family. We both loved his kindness, zest for life and wonderful laugh! Ginny, Ron wants you to know that Steve is one of the finest men that he has ever known! Deepest sympathy to Ginny, Scott, Tracy and the entire family. We are better people to have known him and will cherish wonderful fun memories!

Ginny and Family,
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Steve. You two are one of the "special couples" of the many friends we have made in Solivita. Both of you have been in our thoughts and prayers of the past month. Our prayer is for you to cherish the many memories that you have had over the years together. We will certainly cherish getting to know both of you and will never forget Steve's smile and positive attitude. Please don't hesitate to call us when you return to Solivita. We were very saddened, to hear of Steve's passing . We were neighbors, for quite awhile, before they moved south . We enjoyed our quick visits , with Steve & Ginny, when we traveled to Florida & always enjoyed their Christmas Card each year, with all their family news & travel . He will be missed . RIP

Ginny,
All our hearts are broken today with the loss of your wonderful husband, Jim. Many, here at Solivita, got to know Steve through Guys and Dolls. What a friendly, compassionate person he was, and we will miss his smiling face in our group. I see that you were married for 47 years and you had a gift for that many years. I know he felt the same about you. We wish you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Love,
Terry and Dee Roderick

I, Blanche, called him "Stevie Wonder". It started early on with his illness. I was always amazed at his attitude and outlook about his situation and he could have been sorry for himself, but, NO! He and Ginny have been an inspiration and a great influence on the Solivita Community. He was a good 😊 man and loved life, people, his family and especially his dear Ginny. God bless you all! Prayers and hugs!

Ginny and family,
Steve and Ginny were one of the 1st residents I met when I moved to Solivita in Oct 2015! That is when I joined the PA club of Solivita. Steve was a genuine, loving man, and the world of Solivita will not be the same. God bless you Ginny!

We are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I enjoyed talking with him about the Pa. Club and his enthusiasm for it. I was born and raised in Mckeesport and have family in Elizabeth Township. I attended several meetings but we have been travelling out of town for my wife's work so have missed a lot of the meetings. I look forward to getting together in the future to celebrate the wonderful club you were both so involved in. Prayers go out to you and your family! Jack and Hope Gilkey
