Joan F. (Kotkiewicz) Breitigan

Joan F. Breitigan, age 74 of South Park, passed away at home on Monday, February 20, 2017.  Born September 17, 1942 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Stella (Kostrzewa) Kotkiewicz.  Joan is preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 56 years Edward L. Breitigan, Jr., who passed away February 12, 2015, and her daughter Christine M. Bodell.  She is the beloved mother of Edward M. (Evelyn) Breitigan of Washington, PA and Pamela S. (Paul Mussori) Washko of Clairton; grandmother of six: Amanda and Ashley Breitigan, Lauren and Justin Bodell, Heather (Adam) Dillon, and John Washko; great-grandmother of seven: George, Aaliyah, Travis, Tyler, Autumn, Preston, and Camden; sister of Ronald (Sue) Kotkiewicz; and also nieces and nephews.  At the request of the family, services for Joan will be private.  Arrangements by the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton.
