Nicholas "Nick" J. Farace

Nicholas J. "Nick" Farace, age 90 of Versailles, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.  Born October 1, 1926 in Scottdale,he was a son of the late Joseph and Cora (Rinaldi) Farace.  Nick retired after more than 45 years in the shipping department of the former Enamel Products and Plating Company in McKeesport.  He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and its Holy Name Society and Mens Club, and also CFU Lodge #146 of Versailles.  He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Lillian (Ferry) Farace, his daughter Carole Farace of Orlando, FL, his son Anthony Farace of Pittsburgh, his granddaughter Amber, his sisters Louise Pokrifka of Munhall and Joanne Molinaro of Liberty Borough, and also nieces, nephews, many godchildren, and his beloved dog Bruno.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Patrick's Church with Fr. Vincent Velas officiating.  Procession and entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, North Versailles.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nick's name should be made to the White Oak Safe Haven Animal Shelter, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
