Thomas Michael "The Super Iceman" Greco, age 80 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 in Kane Regional Center - McKeesport, among family. Born August 12, 1945 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Joseph L. and Mary L. (Benkulik) Greco. A member of the Teamsters Local and driver for Home City Ice and Hillendale Farms, Thomas was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and long time US Army Reserve Sergeant. He was also a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick's Church and the Yough Mon Model Railroad Club. Besides his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Sandra J. Greco, who passed away on August 28, 2025, and his sister Joanne A. Greco. He is survived by his children Anthony (Cara) Greco of Cincinnati, OH, Dana (Justin) Defonso of Boston, PA, Michael (Tammie Turner) Greco of Elizabeth Twp., and David (Annie) Greco of Eighty Four; his grandchildren Nevaeh, Jovanni, Antoinette, Mackenzie, Samuel, and Madelaine; his brother Robert A. (Kathleen) Greco of Tarentum; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 3 PM to 7 PM . At 7 PM, there will be an evening service officiated by Pastor Larry Coltura, Chaplain with Bridges Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick's Church. Burial with military honors will follow to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
