Theresa (Glegyak) Baldovski

Theresa Baldovski, age 88 of Clairton, passed away on January 14, 2019 in Southwestern Nursing Center. A member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church — where she was involved with Ladies Guild, Rosary Society, Sodality and regularly volunteered — she was also a member of AARP Clairton Hill Chapter #2862.  Theresa was born on July 23, 1930, in Elrama to the late Alexander and Theresa (Buchina) Glegyak. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Baldovski, who passed away February 25, 2012. Theresa is survived by her children Theresa “Terry” (Rich) Peterman of Jefferson Hills, Alex John (Susan) Baldovski of Lutz, FL, Joseph Michael (Renae) Baldovski of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren Connor and Christian Baldovski and Holly Peterman; her great grandson Chase Matsko; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings John, Alex, Victor and Louis Glegyak and Margaret Smith. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 17th, 2019 from 1 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM with a Parastas held at 6:30 PM in the A. J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton. A Panachida will be held on Friday, January 18 at 9:30 AM in the funeral home  followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10 AM in Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions can be made to the Ascension Church 218 Park Ave. Clairton, PA 15025.
