Ruth M. (McClain) Kelly

Ruth M. (McClain) Kelly, age 81, of Morrisdale, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Embassy of Huntingdon. She retired as a secretary for Pemberton's in Boston. She was a member of Elizabeth Wesleyan Church. Born September 4, 1939 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Kalkbrenner) McClain. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rev. Roy A.  Kelly; sons, David Kelly of Boston, Dennis (Cheryl) Kelly of Morrisdale and Patrick (Linda) Kelly of Macungie; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Stumme of North Versailles, Diane (Dennis) Marhefka of Hamilton, OH and Sherry (Bill) Whisel of New Castle; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Pamela Kelly. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, May 20, 2021, from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 21 at 1 PM at the Elizabeth Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Bowers officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial is private.
