Obituary
Roy S. Winkles, age 73, formerly of Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Arden Courts. He retired as proprietor/management consultant for Roy S. Winkles Consulting. Roy had also been a senior partner at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants in Chicago, Il., Strategic Planning Associates in Washington D.C., Wilton Consulting Group in Wilton, Ct., and was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in New York City. After receiving his MBA from Columbia University in NYC he joined Proctor & Gamble’s marketing area. He enjoyed tennis, golf, skiing and biking. Born April 23, 1949 in Battlecreek, MI, he was a son of the late John S. and Louise (Boba) Winkles. He is survived by his son, Jon-Francis Stanton Winkles of Pittsburgh; daughter, Anne Winkles of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Laurie Gray of Monavale, Australia; and former wife, Madaline Winkles of Delray Beach, FL. No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
