Roy Bailey

Roy Bailey, age 81, of Buena Vista, passed away Thursday October 26, 2023, at Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Canterbury Place, Lawrenceville. A self-employed carpenter, Roy worked well with his hands and loved gardening. Born July 26, 1942, in Aiken, SC, he was a son of the late Levi and Minerva Hutto Bailey and was husband of the late Joyce L. (Cottle) Bailey who passed away July 28, 2022. He is survived by 6 children, Ellen (Ray Moore) Bailey of Buena Vista, Lisa J. (Jay) Radaker of Monongahela, Roy Bailey of Somerset, Matthew (Will Goodwin) Bailey of Pittsburgh, Heather Bailey of Buena Vista, and Levi Bailey of Buena Vista; 6 grandchildren, Rael Kibe, Devin Bailey, Hunter Moore, Nora Yosko, Logan Radaker, and Dillon Yosko; 2 great-grandchildren, Connor Kibe and Louisa Kibe; also nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Levi “L.B.” Bailey, Melmer Bailey, Louise Shephard, Nora Bailey, Wayne Bailey, Valmarie Goff, Hazel Lilly, and Bence Bailey.
