Rose Katherine (Trocheck) Paluti

Rose Katherine Paluti, loving and adored mother of Tina Paluti (Rich Payo), Dr. Lori Paluti, and Gina Paluti (Ray Kuhn and son Alex), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 76.   Born March 17, 1944 in Clairton, she was the daughter of Andrew J. and Mary (Ballone) Trocheck.  A graduate of Clairton High School, Rose received a medical assistant's certification from CCAC Bethel Park Center.  She also taught kindergarten and 4th grade CCD at St. Clare Parish in Clairton, and volunteered for both Jefferson Hospital and the Clairton Community Food Bank.  Rose had a passion for animals and loved music, especially Neil Diamond.  She loved her children more than anything in this world.  Rose was a devoted mother and wife; adored her pets; and was admired by anyone who met her for her sense of humor, her infectious smile, her devotion to her family, and her kind and compassionate spirit.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband James Paluti and her sister Mary Ann Davis.  Besides her children and grandson, Rose is survived by her brother Dr. Vincent J. (Dolores) Trocheck of Pleasant Hills and her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Funeral arrangements for Rose will be private with burial following in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.  The family would like to personally thank AHN Hospice Home Care for all of the support and love they showed Rose and her family, as well as the tremendous care that was provided to her by her nurses Cecilia, Kelli, and Brooke, her social worker Mary Beth, and her CNA Natalie.  Memorial contributions in Rose's name should be made to Animal Friends 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.  Arrangements by the A.J.
