Robert "RowBoat” G. Stevens

Robert "RowBoat” G. Stevens, age 82 of Clairton, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at home.  Born October 9, 1940 in Clairton, he was a son of the late James and Louise (Murray) Stevens.  A retiree from Eastman Chemical in West Elizabeth, Robert was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the VFW Post #803 and American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75, both of Clairton, and, after his retirement from Eastman, worked at Debbie's Clairton Coffee Shop.  Robert was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen R. (Zubovich) Stevens, who passed away June 15, 1993, and is survived by his daughter Patricia Stevens of Munhall, his sister Janice McGowan of South Park, and his brother James Stevens of Florida.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 12 Noon until a 2 PM Funeral Service in the funeral home with Rev. Jude Urso officiating.  Memorial contributions in Robert's name should be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
