Raymond A. Heckman

Raymond A. Heckman, age 78, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at home. He retired from the shipping and receiving department of Gardner Denver in Elizabeth. He was a member of the Elizabeth Twp. Sportsmen’s  Association and he loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodworking, boating and jet skiing, and he liked to get his hands dirty gardening. Born January 21, 1947 in Monongahela, he was a son of the late Richard and Cathryn (Dusi) Heckman. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. (Vavra) Heckman, who have been together for 60 years; daughters, Cristalle “Crissy” (Mark) Greenwald of Elizabeth Twp. and Maranda (Arthur) King of Maple Falls, WA; grandchildren, Christian (Tayler Denney) Kirschner, Riley Greenwald, AJ King and Abby King; sisters, Pearl Glos of Elizabeth Twp. and Cheryl Trumpie of Lincoln Borough; brother, Richard (Mary) Heckman of Elizabeth Twp.; also nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Salena Heckman. No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
