Raymond Francis Dolata

Raymond Francis Dolata, age 76 of West Newton, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at home.  Born May 15, 1947 in Buena Vista, he was a son of the late Frank and Sophie Dolata.  A volunteer and member of The Church in Sutersville, Raymond was a US Army Veteran and worked as both a carpenter and former manager at Toys R' Us.  He is survived by his son David (Lara) Dolata of Fairfax, VA, and granddaughters Katherine and Elizabeth.  Besides his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his brother Ignatius "Nick" Dolata and his sister-in-law Dorothy Dolata.  Funeral arrangements for Raymond are private at the convenience of the family and in the care of the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles.
