Paul T. Hrezo

Paul T. Hrezo, age 80, of Elizabeth Twp., formerly of Clairton, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired maintenance person for Philotechnics. An Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a member of St. John 23rd Parish in Elrama and American Legion Post 75 in Clairton. Born May 16, 1941 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late John M. and Pauline (Dzubay) Hrezo and husband of the late Rinelda “Suzie” (Sopko) Hrezo and Carol A. (Stout) Hrezo. He is survived by his son, Brian (Kathy) Hrezo of Warner Robins, GA; daughter, Kim (Jay) Ludwig of Clairton; grandchildren, Brandon and Molly Hrezo, Joshua, Jori and Kristofer Ludwig, and Tyler and Scott Herchelroath; great-grandchildren, Lillanna, Madelynn, Owen, Kinsley and Jaxx Herchelroath; his late wife Suzie's children, Toy Kildow of Elizabeth, Susann (Angelo) Donofrio of Long Island, NY, Alexa Siemon of Elizabeth Twp., Joseph (Helene) Sopko of Level Green, and their children; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by daughter, Wendy Jo Herchelroath, and brothers, David, John and Joseph Hrezo. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10 AM in St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church (St. John 23rd Parish) with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating. Private burial will be in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.
