Patrick "Denny" D. Mannion, age 82 of Lincoln Borough, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 in Jefferson Hospital surrounded by family. Born January 13, 1942 in Braddock, he was a son of the late Patrick T. and Ann (Onda) Mannion. A US Air Force Veteran, Patrick was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Eugene Church, and retired as an electrician at GM's Fisher Body Plant in West Mifflin. His family will remember him as a fun loving man who loved to tell stories and crack jokes, loved to sing and root on the local sports teams, and was a car and racing enthusiast who even worked on a pit crew. Most of all, they'll remember him as a devoted father and grandfather and for being fiercely proud of his Irish and Mannion family heritage. They will always love him as much as he loved them: with all of their hearts. Patrick is survived by his daughters Danica (Jeff) Miller of Elizabeth Twp. and Jessica Mannion of Lincoln Borough; his grandchildren Sydney and Luke; his sister Patty Ann (Anthony) Zusinas of Moon Twp.; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Mannion. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 1 PM until a 5 PM blessing in the funeral home with Deacon Dale DiSanto officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patrick's name should be made to either the Wounded Warriors Project at support.woundedwarriorproject.org or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org.
