Patricia A. (Sharp) McCurry

Patricia A. McCurry, age 84, of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at home, surrounded by her family. Born March 16, 1936, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Violet (Shoop) Sharp. She was the owner and operator for Mitchell Manor in Clairton for 35 years and a member of Living Hope Assembly of God Church in Clairton. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, William A. McCurry, who died on May 12, 1983. She is survived by her children Debra (Kenneth) Ross of Jefferson Hills, David A. (Maureen) McCurry of St. Leonard, MD, Denise (Donald) Freund of Jefferson Hills, and Dana Parks of Clairton; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother Merle Sharp of Zelienople; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, David Sharp. Friends will be received at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Only twenty-five people will be permitted at a time; masks are required; CDC and State guidelines will be observed; and social distancing will be enforced on funeral home property. Funeral services and burial are private as per request of the family.
