Michael J. Young

Michael J. Young, age 40, of Castle Shannon, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 at home. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was an operational integrity and risk control analyst at TriState Capital Bank in Pittsburgh. He was a member of Calvary Chapel South Pittsburgh in West Elizabeth and was a talented musician. Born September 20, 1985 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late John and Sharon (Thompson) Young. He is survived by his brothers, Taylor Young of Pittsburgh and Michael R. Young of Victorville, CA; a niece and a nephew; and cousins, Nick Fusco of Pittsburgh and Chris Sunday of Burgettstown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a cousin, Robert Young. No visitation is planned. A memorial service will take place Friday, September 25, 2026 at 6 PM at Calvary Chapel South Pittsburgh, 730 5th Street, West Elizabeth, PA 15088 with Pastor Tim Green officiating.
