Michael S. Fitzpatrick

Michael S. Fitzpatrick, age 63 of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, February 1, 2019.  Born April 23, 1955 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Charles W. Fitzpatrick, Sr. and Mary (Mellinger) Fitzpatrick.  A former engineer for CSX Railroad, Michael also co-owned many local businesses over the years with his beloved twin brother Charles W. Fitzpatrick, Jr., who passed away February 17, 2017.  He was also a US Army Veteran and a member of both St. Clare of Assisi Parish in and the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75 , both of Clairton.  He also was a dog lover, and he will be missed by his two pups: Timber and Jasper.  Michael is survived by his wife of 27 years Sandy (Cook) Fitzpatrick; his sisters Jean (the late Bob) Grier, Linda (Frank) Podrosky, and Michele (Bill) Walters; his nieces and nephews: Dawn, Carl, Lisa, Stephen, Jenny, Bill , and Rob; and also great-nieces and great-nephews.  There is no vistation scheduled for Michael.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clairton, at 11 AM.  Interment will be private.  Arrangements by the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clariton.
