Mary L. (Mondforte) Zecchini

Mary L. Zecchini, age 99 of Munhall and formerly of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.  Born March 20, 1925 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Carmello and Cecilia Victoria (Suncine) Mondforte.  A member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick's Church, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands Joseph E. Simco, Sr. and Raymond Zecchini, Sr.; her son Joseph E. Simco, Jr.; her stepson Raymond (Marlene) Zecchini, Jr.; and her sisters Rose Mimnaugh, Minnie Balog, Angelina Shively, and Josephine Bennett.  She is survived by her children John Allen (Cathy) Simco, Sr. of North Huntingdon and Debora (David) Taylor of West Homestead; her grandchildren Wendy (Wendell) Davis, John Allen (Julie) Simco, Jr., David (Danielle Graham) Taylor, and Kristine (Matthew) Turko; her great-grandchildren Anna and Julia Davis, Carmella and Adelina Simco, Reese, Brooke, and Jacob Turko, and John Axon; and also nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial and interment for Mary was held privately at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions in Mary's name should be made to Family Hospice, 310 Fisk St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201.  Arrangements by the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles.
