Mary (Supernovich) Turek

Mary (Supernovich) Turek, age 72, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at home. She retired as an inside sales representative for Ductmate Industries Inc. in Monongahela. She was a devout member of St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Jefferson Hills. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her family members, as well as bowling, bingo, and casinos. Born January 8, 1947 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Balko) Supernovich and wife of the late Donald J. Turek Sr. She is survived by children, Amy L. (Jeffrey) Rhodes of Elizabeth Twp., Donald J. Turek Jr. of West Elizabeth and Dennis M. (Melissa) Turek of Sutersville; grandchildren, Hannah Marie and Noah William Rhodes, and Sarah Mae, Donald J. III, Rayli, Hunter and Alexis Turek; sisters, Kathryn Ianno of Monongahela, Helen (Tom) Rapp of Monongahela and Sheila (Ron) Derian of Munhall; brother-in-law, Joe Rostcheck; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Charles Supernovich, Theresa Moree, Patricia Rostcheck, John Supernovich, George Supernovich and Joan Armstrong. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 6-8 PM and Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Bud Falkenhan officiating. Burial will Monday, July 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
