Mary Marasco Obituary

Mary M. Marasco, age 71 of Clairton, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 in Jefferson Hospital. Born October 16, 1954 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Leo J. and Martha Pauline Theresa (Laver) Stercula. A former nurse's aide with both Jefferson Hospital and John J. Kane Regional Center in McKeesport, Mary is survived by her husband Ronald J. Marasco; her daughter Maura (Roy, II) Thompson and West Mifflin; her grandchildren Roy, III, Jessica/Sable, and Anya Thompson; her sister Theresa Minda of Floreffe; and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings Bernadette Coneway and Joseph Stercula. Funeral arrangements for Mary are private at the request of the family; arrangements by the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton.
