Mark A. Chalfant

Mark A. Chalfant, age 63 of Greenock, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born January 19, 1957 in McKeesport, he is the son of Norma (Harcleroad) Chalfant of Jefferson Hills and the late Wilbur Chalfant.  A worker for the shipping department at Kennametal's Irwin site, besides his mother, Mark is survived by his wife of 38 years Dianne (Kukulka) Chalfant; his sister Cindy (John) Villella of Eighty-Four, PA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, ON A LIMITED BASIS on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 4 to 8 PM.  ONLY TWENTY FIVE PEOPLE WILL BE PERMITTED AT A TIME, CDC AND STATE GUIDELINES WILL BE OBSERVED, AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ENFORCED ON FUNERAL HOME PROPERTY.  Funeral services and burial in Round Hill Cemetery will be private.  Memorial contributions in Mark's name should be made to the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave., #1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or the American Diabetes Association, 112 Washington Pl., #1520, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
