Louis P. Pavlack, Sr.

Louis P. Pavlack, Sr., age 73 of Jefferson Hills, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.  Born October 24, 1946 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Helen (Sharpeta) Pavlack.  A US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, Louis was a very hard working man who retired as a maintenance technician after fifty years at US Steel Clairton Works.  He was also a member of the CFU Lodge #248 of Clairton and, in his spare time, loved to square dance and vacation to his lake house in Deep Creek.  Louis is survived by his children Julie Hitchens of Ambridge, Louis P. (Lisa) Pavlack, Jr. of Jefferson Hills, and Brian (Danielle) Pavlack of Elizabeth; his grandchildren Megan (Brian) Plants, Jessica Hitchens, Cassie (Adam Zaborney) Pavlack, Justin (fiancee' Dawn Martis) Pavlack, Joshua Pavlack, and Farrah Pavlack; step-granddaughter Seneca Thompson; great-grandchildren Brock Plants and Brayden Zaborney; longtime companion Patricia Manko; brother Donald (Irene) Pavlack of Vienna, VA; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his siblings Richard Pavlack and Sylvia J. Costa.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.  VISITORS ARE ASKED TO PLEASE BRING AND WEAR A MASK.  Mass of Christian Burial for Louis will be private, as will burial at Round Hill Cemetery.
