Lorraine J. (Marcus) Babyak

Lorraine J. (Marcus) Babyak, age 76, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 in Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp., a former lunch aid at Elizabeth Elementary School and she was an avid Steelers fan. She loved spending time with her family, never missed an episode of The Young & the Restless, and also loved cats. Born October 4, 1943 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Nellie (Boczar) Marcus. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Irwin “Butch” Babyak; daughter, Cheryl (Gregg) Maley of Elizabeth Twp.; sons, Michael Babyak of Baldwin and Joseph Babyak of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Bobby and Troy Maley and Samantha and Taylor Babyak; great-grandchildren, Jude Maley and Lacey Babyak; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Wirbicki and brothers, Jim and Stephen Marcus. No visitation is planned. Private graveside service in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
