Karen Joanne Speidel

Karen Joanne “Booka” Speidel, age 79, of Pleasant Hills, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital. She was an office manager for Window Specialist in Dravosburg for more than 25 years. She dedicated her life to her family. She loved all sports, especially football. She took great pleasure in watching her grandchildren play sports and was their biggest fan. Born December 9, 1940 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late John H. Albin and the late Verna Opfer Albin Kosar. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Pahanish (Ken) of Pleasant Hills; grandsons, Garrett Pahanish, Logan Pahanish and Braden Pahanish; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Albin, Floyd E. Albin, John "Butch" Albin and Gary Kent Albin. Visitation and service are private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, which was dear to her heart. Arrangements by the Paul E.
