Julianna C. (Baysek) Baumgardner

Julianna C. Baumgardner, age 81 of Clairton, passed away at home on Monday, August 24, 2026. She was born September 5, 1944 in Pittsburgh's Troy Hill neighborhood. Friends will be received at 10 AM, with an 11 AM Panachida, at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Saturday, August 29, 2026.  Following, there will be a 12 Noon Funeral Liturgy at Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, of which she was a member.  Father Christopher Burke will be officiating.  Julianna worked as both an LPN at Jefferson Hospital and eventually retired as a hospice nurse.  She loved gardening, playing cards and enjoying family and friends. Julianna was a great listener and would give of herself to always help another.  She provided great words of wisdom.  She was a daughter of the late Frank and Julie Ann (Ropas) Baysek.  Besides her parents, Julianna was preceded in death by her husband James R. Baumgardner and her son John F. Baumgardner. She is survived by her sons James E. (Keith Brown) Baumgardner of Macon, GA, Jeffrey S. Baumgardner of Clairton, PA, and Jack G. (Krista) Baumgardner of Jefferson Hills PA; as well as her sister Jean Krzeminski of Glenshaw, PA. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren, Joseph R., Darren J., and Zak G. Baumgardner.
