Julia Sydoriak

Julia Sydoriak, age 95 of Clairton, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019.  Born August 29, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Katherine (Bilak) Sydoriak and was employed for many years at Teper's Jewelers in Clairton.  She was a member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church and was a former member of St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, both in Clairton.  Julia is survived by her sister Doris Sydoriak, her sister-in-law Lillian Sydoriak, and her niece Lilly Tintor.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary, Stephen, and Nick Sydoriak. Friends will be received at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 12 Noon until a Parastas Service at 3 PM. A Panachida Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 AM in Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, Clairton, with Fr. Ivan Mina officiating.  Procession and interment will follow in Ascension Cemetery, Clairton.
