Joyce (Weir) Sanders

Joyce Sanders, age 83 of Elrama, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 in United Hands Homecare, LLC of Clairton.  Born September 14, 1936 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Rusnak) Weir.  A talented ballet dancer who made many appearances on local television, Joyce, besides her parents, was preceded in death by her husband Clemie "Rudy" Sanders, who passed away May 7, 2014, and her sons Mark and Joseph B. Sanders.  She is survived by her children Lisa (Richard) Guthrie of West Mifflin and Patrick Sanders of Lakeworth, FL, her grandchildren Christopher M. Guthrie and Hayley Sanders, and also nieces and nephews.  There is no visitation scheduled for Joyce.  A committal service will take place on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 1 PM in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.  If attending, please arrive at the cemetery fifteen minutes prior to the service.  Arrangements by the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton.
