Joyce S. (Ghrist) Nagy

Joyce S. (Ghrist) Nagy, age 78, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at home. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, taught ceramics, and loved crocheting blankets for family and friends. She was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society. Born August 6, 1940 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John and Grace (Morgan) Ghrist and wife of the late Andrew Nagy. She survived by her loving companion with whom she resided, Bernard Henry; daughters, Melony Necciai of Ocala, FL, Andrea Chepanoske of Buena Vista and Amy Nagy of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, James and Nicholas (Brittany) Necciai, Danielle and Michael Chepanoske, and Alicia, Alexis and Freddie Jr. Howard; great-granddaughter, Abby Necciai; sister, Janet Kaylteka of Romulus, MI, also, nieces and nephews. No visitation is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
