Joseph S. Mincone

Joseph S. Mincone, age 75, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Mon Valley Care Center. He retired as a millwright for U.S. Steel in Washington. He loved riding motorcycles, building and flying model airplanes, and enjoyed shooting and was a marksman. He loved his family and worked diligently to provide for them. Born June 21, 1944 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Domenic and Christine (Monaco) Mincone and husband of the late Marlene A. Mincone. He is survived by daughter, Jolene (Ryan) Sypolt of Charleroi; son, Joseph C. (Casey) Mincone of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Emily and Ella Sypolt and Samantha Mincone; sister, Sabina Kessler of Pleasant Hills; brother, Angelo "Che Che" (Marian) Mincone of Elizabeth; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Christine Shuck, and brothers, Frank and Licio Mincone. A Blessing will take place on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2 PM in Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
