Joseph L. Mundorff

Joseph L. Mundorff, age 89, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Baldwin Health Center. He was a retired steelworker at U.S. Steel Clairton Works and a U.S. Army veteran who formerly served as an honor guard for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born July 6, 1935, in Bolivar, he was a son of the late William and Mabel (Fletcher) Mundorff. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Jane (Ofcharik) Mundorff; sons, Rich Mundorff of Canonsburg and Ronald Mundorff of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Tyler, Jaylene and Ryan Mundorff; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 3-7 PM. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 10AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Matt Fricker officiating. Private burial at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
