John M. "Jack" Poziviak
Obituary
John M. "Jack" Poziviak, age 75 of Clairton, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his residence. Born November 18, 1947 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Kovka) Poziviak. Jack worked as a control room operator for Duquesne Light Co. in Elrama. He was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross, Clairton. Jack enjoyed traveling to watch his grandkids play sports, and going to the casinos. Jack was a handyman to his neighbors. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen Jupin Poziviak; his daughter Jennifer (Thomas) Walkinshaw: his sons John "Jack" (Melonie) Poziviak and Justin (Alana) Poziviak; his grandchildren Tyler, Morgan, Seth, Sydney, Maya, Jaxson, & Milena; his sister Dorothy "Dee" Martin of West Mifflin; and his nieces and nephews. Jack was also dogfather to Fritz and Colby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marge Regan. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th Street, Clairton, PA on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-7:30pm. A blessing will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 7:30 pm in the chapel at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home.
