John D. Finnegan, Jr.

John D. Finnegan, Jr., age 76 of Jefferson Hills, passed away at home on Thursday, August 28, 2025.  Born June 17, 1949 in Clairton, he was a son of the late John D. and Irene L. (Graczyk) Finnegan, Sr.  John was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.  A recipient of an associate's degree in engineering from PTI, John worked as an engineer for various companies in the area.  He was also a member of the VFW in Wilson.  John is survived by his brother Mark (June) Finnegan of Charleston, SC, his sister-in-law Susan Finnegan, and his niece and nephews: Shea, Padraic, Justin, Joshua, Jacoby, and Scott Finnegan.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Dennis and Kevin Finnegan.  Funeral arrangements for John will be private at the request of the family and in the care of the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton.
