Jeffrey A. Giansante, age 62 of Jefferson Hills, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Meadowcrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Jeff was the beloved brother of Joseph Giansante of Pleasant Hills, James (Shari) Giansante of Jefferson Hills, and John (Kim) Giansante of North Huntingdon. He was also a cherished uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many. Jeffrey was also preceded in death by his parents Margaret A. (Chiatto) and Joseph A. Giansante.
A 1982 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, at the age of 22, he suffered a life-changing injury that resulted in paralysis and lifelong use of a wheelchair. Despite the many physical challenges and health setbacks he endured, he was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Jeffrey's resilience, strength, optimism, and refusal to complain left a lasting impression on family, friends, and caregivers. Jeff often said, "I had a wonderful life," reflecting his gratitude and unconditional love he received. From his family: may you walk now in peace, dear brother.
Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas A' Becket Church, Jefferson Hills.
