James Snyder

James Snyder, age 83 of Elizabeth and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born February 25, 1938 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late William H. and Mary P. (Earley) Snyder.  James was employed as a roofer in the area.  He is survived by his son Wayne Holland of Zephyrhills, FL, his sister Joanne Donovan of Verona, and also many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his son James R. “Hymie” Holland; his sisters Shirley Powell and Mary K. “Honey Girl” Zwibel; and his brothers William H. Snyder, Jr., Robert Snyder, and John Snyder.  Funeral arrangements for James are private at the request of his family and in the charge of the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton.
