James S. Francis, Jr., age 51 of Parma, OH and formerly of South Park, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Born May 21, 1973 in Pittsburgh, he is a son of Andrea (Golashewski) Francis of Clairton and the late James S. Francis, Sr.. A security guard at the Cleveland Plain Dealer, James enjoyed drag racing and working on/driving his lifted truck. Most importantly, James's family will remember him as a very supportive person who was always there for life's big events and as a loving son, brother, and uncle and will miss him dearly. Besides his mother, he is survived by his sisters Victoria (the late Marc(companion James Currance)) of Dravosburg and Diana Lynn (Mark) Mosco of Van Voorhis; his nieces and nephews Joel, Justin, Jacey, and Jerzy Mirenna and Kayla, Willie, and Dominic Mosco; and his maternal grandfather Jon (the late Helen) Golashewski. Besides his father, James was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, the late Elmer and Mildred Francis. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM until a concluding service at 8 PM.
