George Moresea Obituary

George L. Moresea, age 91, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Southwestern Nursing Center. He was a retired draftsman with U.S. Steel and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth and a social member of the Elizabeth and Blaine Hill Fireman’s Clubs. Born October 8, 1929 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Lindo and Helen (Romanski) Moresea and husband of the late Janet Ann (McKown) Moresea who passed away December 19, 2020. He is survived by his son, Michael L. (Tammi) Moresea of Beaver Falls; and grandsons, Jacob D. and Michael L. Moresea. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Moresea. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 2 – 3 PM. Air Force military honors will take place at 3PM. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
