Gary N. Pollock

Gary N.Pollock, age 75, of West Newton and formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at home. He was a retired coke department clerk at U.S. Steel Clairton Works and a former union grievance steward. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed collecting antiques, woodworking, drinking coffee, watching Rocky and Rambo movies, and spending time with family and his grandkids. Born December 5, 1943 in New Eagle, PA, he was a son of Ann M. (Williams) Pollock of Monongahela and the late Robert Pollock. In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughters, Natalie (John) Ross of Cranberry Twp., and Wendi Pollock of Elizabeth Twp.; son, Dr. Gary F. (Sheri) Pollock of South Fayette; grandchildren, Rachel and Daniel Pollock, Ruby and Max Ross, and Emma and Abby Mack; sister, Linda (Leonard) Baughman of Slidell, LA; brother, Danny (Karen) Pollock of Phoenix, AZ; former wife and friend, Bonnie J. Pollock of Elizabeth; also, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 10 AM at Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church, 100 Timothy Drive, Elizabeth, PA 15037 with Pastor W. Stephen Morse officiating. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas E.
