Gary G. Kunkel

Gary G. Kunkel, age 71, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a truck driver for more than 25 years, worked for the Port Authority of Allegheny County for 17 years, and finished his career as a bus driver for Student Transportation of America in Elizabeth. He loved hunting and fishing. Born December 7, 1952 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Frank Kunkel and the late Betty (Allison) Capanzzi. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra M. (Cavalero) Kunkel of Elizabeth Twp.: daughters, Kelly Woleslagle of Elizabeth Twp. and Tina (Frank) Michaels of Elizabeth Twp.; grandsons, Ryan and Damon Michaels, and Warren, Ethan and Owen Woleslagle; brothers, Frankie and Ronnie; also, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Bonnie, Karen and Eddie; and stepfather, Dan Capanzzi. No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements by the Paul E.
