Erselia (DeChicchis) Rothey

Erselia Rothey, age 95, of Elizabeth passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at home. Born May 25, 1930 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Caesar and Jennie (Perifano) DeChicchis and wife of the late Harry Rothey. She is survived by her companion of 45 years, Paul Schneider Jr. of Elizabeth; sons, Joseph (Adrienne) Dusi of Clairton and Harry Rothey of Elizabeth; daughters, Lynn (Barry) Mullen of Puiallup, WA and Patti (Richard) Livingston of Clairton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Cory DeChicchis, Marie Tierney and Annette Schwartz, and brothers, Joseph and Anton DeChicchis. No visitation or services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by the Paul E.
