Elfriede J. (Lindner) Christ

Elfriede J. (Lindner) Christ, age 98, of Mooresburg, TN, formerly of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at home. She was a member of Round Hill Presbyterian Church. She volunteered for 16 years with Meals on Wheels of Elizabeth Forward at Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church. Born February 20, 1928 in Brandis, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Albin and Elsa (Schultz) Lindner and wife of the late Fritz Otto Christ, whom she married December 4, 1948 in Frankfort, Germany. She is survived by her sons, Alfred J. (Jane) Christ of Mooresburg, TN and Fritz H. (Sherry) Christ of Charleston, WV; granddaughters, Heather, Leigh, Amanda and Greta; four great-grandchildren; brother, Martin Lindner of East Germany; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, on Sunday, March 1, 2026 from 1-4 PM. A funeral service will be Monday, March 2, 2026 at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Deacon Kevin Fritz officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
