Edward A. Waldron

Edward A. "Eddie" Waldron, age 79, of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital. Born April 26,1945 in Los Angeles, CA, he was a son of the late Aubrey N. and Evelyn F. (Ridler) Waldron. He was a US Navy veteran serving during Vietnam War and a Truck Driver for J.B. Hunt in Trafford. Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Diana Waldron, who passed away on July 20, 2018. He is survived by his children Traci (Chris) Dinwiddie of Clairton, William Gates of McKeesport, Debora Escobar of Clairton, and Lisa Gates of Turtle Creek; grandchildren Christine, Chase, and Ashley Gonzalez, Nicole Mills, Jeremy Troxel, Heather Gates, and Charlene Gates-Coffman; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by son Thomas Gates and siblings. Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10:30 AM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. We ask everyone to PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY. Go Kamala!
