Edward Gibson

Edward "Eddy" Gibson, age 36, of West Elizabeth, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 13, 2024. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Eddy was a skilled auto collision technician and painter. He enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his boys. Born October 15, 1987 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Edward D. (Debra) Gibson of Jefferson Hills and the late Tais (Hutnik) Gibson. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sons, Cameron and Harvey Gibson; brother, Justin Gibson of Acme; sister, Carly Coleman of Burgettstown; girlfriend, Brittany Morrow; step-grandmothers, Sylvia Hutnik and Christine Gibson; dogs, Buster and Merle; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Joyce and Jay Link, Edward Gibson, Michael Hutnik and Rosemary Hutnik. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 3 PM until the time of service at 7 PM with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter of one's choice.
