Duane T. Lasich

Duane T. Lasich, age 69 of Union Twp., passed away at home on Thursday, July 2, 2026.  Born November 10, 1956 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Andrew and Patricia (Majetic) Lasich.  The co-owner of Central Auto in Clairton, Duane also worked for 44 years at US Steel until his retirement 7 years ago.  In his spare time, he loved cars (and fixing them up), NASCAR, riding his lawn mower, and helping others.  He is survived by his wife Brenda (Zappel) Lasich; his son Adam Lasich of Clairton; his step-children Thomas Supernovich of Charleroi and Jessica Boyce of Monongahela; his siblings Richard "Moe" (the late Mary) Lasich of Jefferson Hills, Donna (Ed) Marraccini of Broken Arrow, OK, James (Karen) Lasich of Nolensville, TN, Geraldine "Geri" (the late Billy) Harrington of Forward Twp., and Rita (Terry) Wall of Jefferson Hills; his sister-in-law Carol Lasich of South Park; and also many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Duane was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Lasich.  Funeral arrangements for Duane are private at the request of the family and in the care of the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton.
