Dr. Christopher R. Greenawalt

Dr. Christopher R. Greenawalt, age 47, of Rostraver Twp., passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at home. He was a chiropractor and a member of Elizabeth United Methodist Church. He was an animal lover and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Born May 6, 1977 in New Eagle, he was a son of Brian and Sally (Caulkett) Greenawalt of Elizabeth Twp. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jonathan (Bobbie) Greenawalt of Forward Twp.; grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" Muron of Elizabeth Twp.; nieces, Cassie (McCade Elliott) Greenawalt and Kyra Greenawalt; great-niece, Dorothy Elliott; also, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ed Pope officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a local animal shelter of one's choice.
