Obituary
Donald J. Turek Jr., age 52, of Bunola, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at home. He worked in the maintenance department of the Elizabeth Forward School District. He was a member of Local 5 IBEW and enjoyed Thursday evening golf at Butler's. Born April 21, 1971 in Monongahela, he was a son of the late Donald J. Turek Sr. and the late Mary (Supernovich) Turek. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Burley Turek of Bunola; daughters, Sarah Turek of Columbus, OH, Samantha (Tom) Giffin of Connellsville and Kendra Burley of Connellsville; son, Donald J. Turek III of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Sophia and Lincoln Giffin, and Isabella and Rowan Burley; brother, Dennis M. (Melissa) Turek of Sutersville; sister, Amy Rhodes; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2-4 PM.
