Diane E. (Gross) Brooks

Diane E. Brooks, age 67 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in UPMC McKeesport.  Born July 15, 1954 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Madeline (Frankovich) Gross.  A dispatcher and paramedic for Mon Valley 911 amongst others, Diane retired as a parking lot attendant with Parking Solutions at Jefferson Hospital.  In her spare time, she was a member of Pennsembles, the CFU Lodge #3 of Versailles, and the Lincoln Borough VFD.  Diane is survived by her husband of 43 years Robert C. Brooks; her children Dawn Brooks of McKeesport and Matthew Brooks of East McKeesport; her grandchildren Kaylee, Austin, Madalynn, Charles, Chad, Tyler, and Sierra; and her great-grandchild Nolan.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother John Gross and her uncle Richard Medved.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.  A Blessing will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 10 AM with Deacon Dale DiSanto officiating.  Interment will be private.  At Diane's request, visitors and friends are asked specifically to come dressed casually to the funeral home.
