David Earl Astle

David Earl Astle, age 80, of West Newton, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at Westmoreland Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War and enjoyed scratch off tickets and going to bingo. Born December 23, 1945 in New Eagle, he was a son of the late Herbert Earl and Davida (Anthony) Astle. He is survived by his sister, Goldie Kruper of West Newton; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Wayne Astle. No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
