Colleen E. (Loth) Buglar, age 79, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at home where she was surrounded by family and loved ones. She was a retired practical nurse and worked for many years as a beloved receptionist for Eastman Chemical in West Elizabeth. Born October 29, 1946, in Minneapolis, MN, she was the daughter of the late Clark and June (Lee) Loth. She is survived by her husband, James A. Buglar; daughter, Sherri (Michael) Parker of Elizabeth; sons, Sean (Rebecca) Buglar of Elizabeth, Joseph (Melissa) Buglar of Jupiter, FL, and Eric (Tiffany) Buglar of Pleasant Hills; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Steven (Sharon) Loth of Aledo, TX. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven P. Buglar. Colleen was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church where she shared her love for church with all of her grandchildren. She loved fiercely with all of her heart and never missed a chance to “veg by the pool” with a margarita in hand or make a trip to the casino with Ashley, Amber, and Amber. She loved her grandkids more than life itself and was their biggest cheerleader along the way. She never missed an opportunity to have them over for the weekend for sleepovers, milkshakes, popcorn, and move nights. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 4-7 PM. A private funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Adam Stump officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Colleen's name.
