Catherine A. (Howard) Grimes

Catherine A. Grimes, age 82, of Shadyside, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Born November 10, 1942 in Washington, DC, she was a daughter of the late William and Mildred (Hudson) Howard and wife of the late Carl Grimes. She is survived by children, Erin (Dennis) Gephart of West Newton and Tim (Tenita) Grimes of North Beach, MD; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Pete (Irma) Howard. No visitation or services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Local arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
