Carole J. (McCorkle) Williams

Carole J. (McCorkle) Williams, age 81, of Forward Twp., passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at home. She was the accountant for the family business, Tom's Body Shop in Forward Twp. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. A master quilter and member of the Mon Valley Quilt Club, she also enjoyed sewing, building puzzles and doing crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. Born June 3, 1942 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Helen (Hough) McCorkle. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas E.  Williams; daughters, Amy Brunazzi of Forward Twp. and Jennifer (Simone Meltesen) Williams of New York, NY; grandchildren, Erin Brunazzi, Sarah (Stephen) Ciuca and Arthur Brunazzi; great-grandchildren, Trent, Sofia, Anson and Ellis; brother, Boyd McCorkle of the state of California; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, JoAnn Sayre, and best friend, Patty Speers. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 3-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
